Welcome!

Welcome to the Concerned Community Blog -- change for and in the Lampasas School District is our passion. There are four positions on the school board coming open in May. We have until March 9th to throw in our hats! This blog is being created to bring together those that can and will be in the running for effective change in our School Board and then be used as an information board after that! Many on our educational team feel as if they dont have a place to go to be heard... Parents are not being heard... and last but not least our children are not being heard. Lets join together as a community and find those four that can give us a good campaign and bring some change and attention that we all feel is needed.

Lets get people involved in the school district again… if there is a good race more people will be passionate about getting out and voting and attending forums. We do intend on making it a good race.

We are putting up the list of the 7 prospective runners and asking for your input to find the 4 that will run if thats what they will decide... then they will each get on here and let you know who they are and why they will make a difference! You can vote on polls here, leave comments after posts, attend the meetings that will be posted about, and hopefully get involved and be a part of something that will bound to leave its mark in our school district.
